The Village of Biscayne Park on Sept. 3 amended its meeting-notice procedures and pressed the vendor GoGov for proof that residents are receiving email and app notifications after complaints that a prior migration dropped many addresses.
The commission approved an amended version of Resolution 2025-48 after a lengthy discussion that centered on whether the village's previous requirement to send notice via the village's email list had been effectively replaced by the GoGov platform. Commissioner Huntington, who moved the amendment, said the change was intended to make the policy match current practice while keeping email notice in place.
