The Mesquite Planning and Zoning Commission voted 7–0 on Sept. 22 to approve a conditional‑use permit for TMI Climate Solutions to manufacture air‑handling units at 1755 U.S. Highway 80. The commission closed the public hearing and approved the application after planning staff recommended the permit.
Garrett Langford of planning staff told the commission the site is about 33 acres, the building shell is roughly 203,000 square feet, and staff "believe[s] that the request does meet the criteria outlined in section 5‑310N."
