The Pewaukee School District board took multiple personnel actions and approved compensation recommendations for distinct employee groups after a closed‑session discussion.
In open session the board accepted the resignation of Berkeley Weimer, a first‑grade teacher, and approved the retirement of library media specialist Sarah Gull. It also approved three employments: Morgan McNally (third grade), Owen Lapp (fourth grade) and Chelsea Roth (limited‑term special education) to cover anticipated leaves. A board member had earlier praised Gull’s long service to the district.
Later in the meeting the board recessed to closed session to discuss employee compensation. After returning to open session, the board voted on the compensation recommendations for multiple groups. The board approved the administrative and confidential support staff recommendation and then approved the teacher compensation system presented for the 2025–26 contract year; that teacher compensation vote recorded at least one abstention. The board also approved compensation for custodians, nurses, food service, paraprofessionals and secretaries for the 2025–26 school year, with one opposed vote noted on that motion.
Board members emphasized appreciation for long‑serving staff and confirmed the district’s process of evaluation and performance‑based components in the compensation model.
