Provo council unanimously appoints Michael Ann Gardner to housing authority board

“Michael Ann has worked for several years as a director at United Way of Utah where she has developed a deep understanding of our community's housing needs,” the mayor said while presenting the nomination.
After a brief exchange, councilors voted on the implied motion. Councilors answered in the affirmative in roll-call style and the nomination passed 7–0.
No councilor raised questions that changed the recommendation. The appointment will take effect following any administrative onboarding required by the housing authority.
