A staff presenter said the resubmitted design met the ordinance, removing the need for a variance; the commission accepted the withdrawal and did not open a public hearing.
Staff also reported on City Council actions from the Jan. 6 meeting: council approved a zoning change to allow a hotel on the east side of Frisco (near El Dorado and Centricola Business Park), approved a one‑acre rezoning on Rogers Road from agricultural to Residential‑16, and approved a smoke‑shop ordinance. Those items were provided to the commission for information.
In other updates, staff (Donna) described Main Street construction progress: brick pavers are being installed, most trees are in place, and staff is planning a soft opening and a larger celebration in June tied to plaza and parking garage completion. Staff noted increased developer interest in Main Street redevelopment.
The meeting concluded with a unanimous motion to adjourn at 6:48 p.m.
