District unveils facilities master plan and lists old Gibson Tech building for sale

S1 described other priorities including water retention and turfing for baseball and softball fields and an aspirational multipurpose indoor facility for extracurricular activities, while stressing day‑to‑day instructional needs will take precedence.
As part of facilities planning and surplus property strategy, the board decided to list the old Gibson Tech building for sale. S1 said the building is about 45,000 square feet and will be posted at $1,125,000 (roughly $25 per square foot); district consultants and real‑estate agents were involved in setting the price and the district will schedule walk‑throughs for interested parties.
