The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 20 approved a resolution to declare county property at 925 Industrial Way surplus to county needs.
Lisa Lawrence, assistant director, Solid Waste, told the board she was seeking consideration of a resolution to surplus the property. “Here to request for to consider a resolution to surplus the county property located at 925 Industrial Way,” she said, and added that the MRW facility and main office are planned to move to a new location, with a hoped-for move by February or March.
Chair asked for public comment and none was offered. Lisa Lawrence moved to approve the resolution, which the board agreed to; the transcript records an affirmative "Aye" on the vote but does not include a full roll call in the record. The resolution is identified in the hearing as “resolution number 20 26” (the transcript also records an additional numeric fragment rendered as “0 0 4”).
The board closed the hearing and proceeded with remaining agenda items.
