No members of the public spoke in opposition. The board concluded the hardship relates to the lot layout and the applicant’s stated plan for aging-in-place and approved the variance by voice vote.
Board members asked staff to confirm the measured setbacks and to enter administrative exhibits; building permits and inspections will follow the standard process before construction begins.
