The chair reported four yes votes, one no and one abstention on the parking recommendation, and the motion carried. Members asked that staff follow up to confirm exact parking boundaries and to provide a written contract summary for the board file.
Members also instructed staff to communicate arrangements for remote or absent board members so their votes could be recorded when possible. The board then concluded the special meeting and discussed logistical steps to move the convocation center planning and contract implementation forward.
