Commission approves quarterly 'Clementine' newsletter and routine purchases

City Manager Donald D. Johnson said the newsletter has been distributed as an insert in CNG newspapers in prior years; staff reported the per-publication printing and delivery cost as $1,425. Commissioners approved continuing the quarterly publication at that price and confirmed the intent to start a July-August-September edition this year. A commissioner asked whether the city was billed during the COVID-related suspension; staff replied the city was not billed for the suspended quarter.
The commission also approved routine purchases and payment of invoices and then approved the consent agenda by roll call.
Next steps: staff will proceed with contracting and scheduling the newsletter's quarterly production and process outstanding invoices as approved by the commission.
