Board Chair called the meeting to order and asked Ms. Wareman to conduct roll call. After acknowledging a quorum, a board member moved and another seconded approval of the agenda; the motion carried by unanimous voice vote.
The board then set public hearing dates for three separate projects to be considered at a special session on March 23, 2026. The board set a hearing for the Dallas Center Elementary and Northridge Elementary fire alarm improvement project for 5:35 p.m.; the chair announced the motion was moved by Director Vander Veldt and seconded by Director Baker Curtis, and the motion carried by voice vote. The board set a hearing for the Dallas Center Elementary and Northridge Elementary HVAC controls improvement project for 5:40 p.m.; the chair announced the motion was moved by Director Dickinson and seconded by Director Faiola, and the motion carried by voice vote. The board set a hearing for the district playground equipment and resurfacing project for 5:45 p.m.; the chair announced the motion was moved by Director Faiola and seconded by Director Baker Curtis, and the motion carried by voice vote.
All three motions were approved by voice vote after the board was asked to indicate agreement by saying "Aye." Ms. Wareman performed roll call at the meeting; directors named during roll call included Baker Curtis, Dickinson, Faiola, Malmberg, Carpenter, Quandt and Vander Veldt.
The board announced the next regular meeting would be March 30 at 5:30 p.m. and confirmed the special meeting with the scheduled hearings for March 23. A motion to adjourn passed by voice vote and the meeting ended.
