Knox County commissioners approve routine permits, contracts and ODNR boat donation

The board also approved a master purchase agreement with Axon Enterprises for evidence‑redaction assistance and user licenses for the sheriff’s office at $27,739.92 for 39 months.
The commission approved an addendum to the community‑based corrections subsidy grant from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections increasing the amount by $28,553, and authorized an interagency contractor agreement between Knox County Job & Family Services and Welch Legal Services for $96,000 annually to provide legal work referenced by staff.
A fixed‑price membership agreement with The Ohio State University’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs for management advancement public‑service (MAPS) training was approved for $3,000, and the board accepted a donation of a boat from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for the sheriff’s marine patrol; staff said the county would add the donated vessel to county liability insurance.
