During the public business session commissioners approved multiple personnel actions and warrant items as presented on the agenda.
Personnel: Commissioners voted to approve a rate change for Laura Damon as executive and administrative assistant, accepted notice related to Joseph Doria (chief executive assistant accountant) with an effective date noted, and appointed Robert Fontana as deputy treasurer effective March 16, 2026. Votes were made, seconded and recorded by voice.
Seasonal hires: The board approved a slate of contingent seasonal hires for golf and recreational-facility staffing with effective dates ranging from March 11 through June 1, 2026; the hires were presented as a group motion and carried by voice vote.
Warrants and payroll: Commissioners moved and approved several warrant items, including payroll accounting sums ($141,823; $404,486.76) and a warrant for Spencer County in the amount of $40,389.82. Each item was moved, seconded and approved by the board.
