During the meeting a council member reported on workforce development efforts, saying the council had held a conference call with BOCES and local high schools and that an "ID" electrical class at OCSIS is planned to start in March; the member said participants would be able to "come out of that class with a, your 2 year apprenticeship and the certificate that goes along with that." The council did not take formal action on workforce training at this meeting.
The chair closed the session after a brief community announcement about an upcoming Santa Claus event on the 7th and adjourned the meeting.
