Staff said Deg Morris Investors LLC, a qualified property owner, named Baumann as the replacement designee and that if appointed he would need to file for election into position No. 2 in 2028.
Staff noted a typographical error in the whereas clause of the motion and requested that the clerk replace the incorrect name (Tara Lucky) with Charlie Baumann before GLS consideration. The chair placed the appointment on the consent agenda for GLS on Feb. 25 for consideration.
The committee did not take a final vote in committee; the referral moves the appointment forward for administrative and consent-agenda action at GLS.
