For example, bids for Gallatin and Station Camp tracks were scheduled for a January advertisement and the board hoped to surface tracks in June–July when temperatures allow.
Board members pressed for earlier budget information to avoid a compressed review in May; Dr. Langford noted the district’s recent compensation study provides reliable numbers to model salary scenarios and acknowledged that state data timelines (TISA/TSYS) have made revenue forecasting more uncertain near budget season.
The director said staff will prepare prioritized capital lists and schedule strategic planning dates and site visits for trustees to see classroom instruction and programs in person.
