Councilors asked about turf-safe tires and whether the vehicle included accessories needed for field maintenance. Staff confirmed accessories and brushes are part of the contract or available through the vendor, and that the procurement is on a state master-price agreement allowing purchase without a separate local bid process. The chair said the purchase will be taken from the sports-complex fund number 1397.
The council voted in favor of the authorization. Members noted the purchase is time-sensitive because lead times and the need to have the field ready for April events require the equipment to be procured before CIP timelines could be finalized.
