The Roseville City Council on March 2 appointed volunteers to several advisory commissions and approved its consent agenda, which included payments and project authorizations.
Council made the following appointments: Narayan Dhakal to the Equity and Inclusion Commission (partial term); Martin Jeffers, Matthew Caney and Kyle Randolph to the Finance Commission (full terms); Luke Sandstrom to the Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission (full term); and Rose Lindsay and Ben Schaeffer to the Planning Commission (two full-term vacancies). Councilmembers complimented the strong applicant pool and encouraged others to reapply.
On the consent agenda the council approved payments totaling $457,071.46; purchases including replacement printers for police squads, carpet tiles for the banquet center hallway, playground equipment for Autumn Grove, Applewood and Sandcastle Parks, and EMS dispensing equipment for the fire department; and a cooperative agreement with Ramsey County for the Fairview Avenue resurfacing project in which Roseville’s share is $222,000, to be paid from municipal state aid funds. The council also approved a licensing agreement with Ramsey County to place a wayfinding sign by the Ramsey County Library at Hamline and County Road D.
All consent items and appointments were approved unanimously.
