DeKalb County board approves $2.2 million for maintenance, $15.8 million in claims and one-year contract with Jordan Healthcare Group

DeKalb County commissioners on a November 2025 agenda unanimously approved a batch of resolutions covering maintenance funding, off-cycle claims and a one-year contract for DCRMC building and consulting services.

The board adopted resolution R2025-098 to allocate $2,218,400 in fuel tax credits for general maintenance expenditures. A presenter introduced the measure and the chair called for the motion; commissioners approved the resolution by roll call.

The board also approved R125-099 regarding the federal highway matching tax fund balance and R2025-096 to continue participation in the state's attorney appellate prosecutor service program; both measures were moved, seconded and adopted without extended discussion.

Separately, the board awarded a one-year DCRMC building and consulting contract to Jordan Healthcare Group via resolution R2025-100. The presenter described the award as a one-year contract; the motion was seconded and carried by roll-call vote.

All recorded votes on the listed resolutions were approved as presented. The meeting included routine acknowledgments of employee service anniversaries and the filing of official reports and investment statements for October 2025.

The board later recessed for a closed session on pending litigation per the cited statutory provision and returned to open session before adjourning.
