Board approves barn‑setback variance for Sam Bowers in Sonora (VAR25‑30)

Planning staff said the Barn setback variance request is under Article 7, Section 72 of the Coweta County Zoning and Development Ordinance and that the Board of Zoning Appeals had unanimously recommended approval on Jan. 29 subject to a condition that the barn be located a minimum of 25 feet from the adjacent homesite parcel as shown on the submitted site plan. Planning staff reported no one spoke in support or opposition at the BOZA hearing.
A commissioner moved to approve the variance with the conditions; the motion was seconded and the board approved the request by voice vote.
