The Coweta County Board of Commissioners approved an application for a consumption license for distilled spirits, beer and wine for Vinewood Stables by Wedgwood Weddings (1324 Roscoe Road, Newnan, District 3) after a staff review concluded the application was complete and in compliance with county requirements.
Business-license staff reported the location previously held an active license within the past 12 months and that a new land-survey certificate was not required. Staff recommended approval under Section 6-54 of the Coweta County Code of Ordinances while noting the applicant must obtain final approval from the Georgia Department of Revenue before the license can be issued.
Kristen Mintz, the licensed representative for Vinewood Stables, told the board there would be no changes to operations compared with the past year. No members of the public signed up to speak in opposition. Commissioners moved, discussed recommended conditions and approved the license by voice vote.
