Peer-support program seeks $250,000 grant; commissioners approve Wave Plus equipment and radios

The court discussed pricing, scope and funding sources and then moved to approve the Wave Plus project along with the two radios presented by Jerry Langwell; the motion passed. Staff noted parts of the Wave Plus costs could be supported by ARP funds.
What happens next: If the state grant is awarded, staff will work to sustain the peer-support positions and related services; for Wave Plus, staff will proceed with vendor coordination and radio procurement and will track ARP/fund allocations in the budget.
