They outlined upcoming compliance steps, including submitting tiered‑monitoring paperwork for special education by Feb. 1 and additional evaluation timelines to follow in February and March.
The presentation closed with staff inviting board questions about program size, space and student experiences. Board members and attendees who had previously taught deaf students described the value of teaching sign language and peer inclusion in supporting students with cochlear implants and other needs.
