'This will open up rail-served acreage for potential business improvements,' an EDA representative said; 'the 60-foot dedication for North Stearns will enable approximately 78.5 acres of site readiness.' The EDA's JJ reported that culvert procurement and geotechnical work are underway and a bid package is scheduled to start April 1 for a related access road.
The court approved the plats and took no final rezoning action at this meeting; staff will continue coordination with the city and EDA on road adoption and site-preparation work.
