Staff also summarized a furniture procurement for Mount Branch Primary School that resulted from an RFP and committee review; the recommended package from Perch Furniture totals $678,615.18 with additional small items (trash cans, teacher supplies) to be purchased from project funds.
The superintendent reviewed personnel docket items for board consideration on March 2, including coaching appointments and resignations, health‑care appointments, transfers, retirements and ratified suspensions. Staff named Ryan Ott as a proposed principal (if approved) and noted Laura Ferguson as the proposed principal of the Inwood Early Learning Academy pending board approval. The meeting recorded ratifications of an unpaid suspension for Carol Stocks and a suspension determination for Freddie Storrower.
Board members did not vote on all procurement or personnel items at this meeting; staff said several items will return for board approval as required.
