Commissioners formalize new fund numbers as Workday financial system goes live

Commissioners acknowledged the financial portion of Workday went live in late 2025 and that payroll and other modules are scheduled for phased implementation in 2026. Staff and commissioners thanked the core implementation team and noted that, during transition, many employees will double‑enter data while integrations are finalized.
Commissioner Clayton noted the significance of the milestone and the extra workload for the small core team; commissioners expressed appreciation for staff effort. The motion to approve the formal fund‑number changes passed unanimously 3–0. Staff said the county will continue a phased rollout, with payroll implementation targeted later in 2026 and a focus on integrating additional systems (PACS, revenue tools) over the coming months.
