Council approves Domino's Pizza license for 72 North Main Street in Burrillville

The Burrillville Town Council voted on Nov. 17 to grant a new victualing/liquor license to SNL Pizza Inc, which plans to operate a Domino's Pizza at 72 North Main Street (Assessor's Map 158, Lot 072).
Bill Mohan, who identified himself as a licensing improvement consultant for SNL Pizza Inc, spoke for the applicant and described the franchise's community involvement and timeline. “We expect to be finished with construction around the December 16,” Mohan said, and added the company was arranging a state warehouse walk-through around Dec. 15–16.
The council held a short public hearing on the application; no opponents stepped forward. Following the presentation the council moved and seconded a motion to grant the license and approved it on a voice vote.
The chair read the standard requirements for license issuance: a certificate of good standing from the state division of taxation, payment of local taxes, compliance with state and local building and fire codes, a Department of Health certification, server training and a certificate of insurance per the town ordinance.
What happens next: SNL Pizza Inc must provide the required certificates and comply with code inspections before full licensure and operation at the North Main Street location.
