A commissioner asked about monthly reporting and capital-expenditure approvals above a threshold; the manager’s representative said monthly financial reports would be delivered to staff and that capital expenditures above $1,500 would require commission approval as written in the draft contract.
The commission supported the motion and authorized the mayor and clerk to execute the agreement. Staff noted the contract term is five years and the effective start date can be set to a near-term calendar date by administrative execution.
