Senate advances House Bill 1020, lays over SB40 and SB63, and confirms multiple governor appointments

The Senate recorded roll-call tallies of 35 yeas, 0 nays for the committee report and for the consent confirmations that were taken by roll.
Next steps: HB1020 will go to third reading; SB40 and SB63 will be returned to the calendar on their respective layover dates for further consideration.
