Resolution 25-20 (Fiscal Year 2025 budget amendment number 3) included an urgent replacement of a ZOLL heart monitor for the fire department after staff said the monitor's 12-lead component failed earlier than expected. Staff told the council that additional revenue within the fire department covers the purchase and that replacement is more cost-effective than repairing the older unit. The council moved to approve the resolution and the motion passed unanimously.
