Reservoir committee urges dredging, aeration and passive recreation; asks whether county park must follow Clark zoning

"We like dredging, we like aeration, and passive recreation," Twoskis said, and asked whether the county park must conform to Clark Township zoning. She also raised whether features such as a kiddie train or carousel would be out of step with the area’s conservation zoning. Twoskis identified herself and her address during remarks and said the committee has drafted a plan that aims to minimize deforestation and large-scale building.
A staff member responded that, at the time the land was purchased, it was acquired through the open-space preservation trust fund, and that the trust includes recreation uses. Council members thanked the committee for the draft plan and encouraged continued engagement; one councilor said he had seen a draft and found it complimentary to the council’s review.
Twoskis said she will attend the next council meeting to offer further comments. No formal zoning determination or vote was taken during the session; the staff response did not specify a process or timeline for formal zoning review.
