Administrators also discussed a phased approach to playgrounds, field work and Lonsdale exterior improvements. The superintendent said the middle school has 144 corroding baseboard valves and that the paving and drainage under the parking surface will require a multi-step repair plan.
Trustees asked about repurposing bleachers and other assets to offset capital costs and proposed moving some recreation projects to the revolving fund when appropriate. The board directed administrators to provide clearer reconciliations of revolving-fund balances and a prioritized list of recurring maintenance items for committee review.
