Chair opened the meeting, called for public comment (none was offered) and, after a motion and second, the committee approved the minutes from the May 23 meeting by voice vote. Staff told members they would use a “modified 2023 layout” this year rather than the larger expansion they had discussed previously: “So, what we've decided is we're gonna pull back. We're going to use a modified 2023 layout,” the Chair said.
Why it matters: staff said the smaller, stabilized footprint makes more immediate operational sense given the short planning window for this year, while the committee and staff continue planning for a potentially expanded site in 2025 that would require more lead time for bookings and logistics.
