Youth Advisory Council visits planning commission; commissioners urge civic engagement and explain long-term projects

One commissioner (S7) provided a high-level description of the city’s capital improvement program, stating that Pflugerville has "about $2,000,000,000 of capital improvement projects going over the next 5 years," and explaining that design, bidding and construction stages can span multiple years. Commissioners encouraged students to observe, learn and consider future service on local boards and commissions.
The meeting concluded with thanks to the youth members and adjournment at 7:26 p.m.
