PNC names John Reese chair and Matt Cox vice chair for 2026

During its Jan. 14 meeting the King Canvey Planning Commission opened nominations for chair and vice chair for 2026. John Reese was nominated for chair; after a motion to close nominations the body agreed by voice vote and commissioners offered brief remarks thanking Reese for his prior service.
For vice chair, members nominated Matt Cox. Cox accepted the nomination; nominations were closed by motion and the commission approved his appointment by voice vote.
Both appointments were made by voice vote during the meeting and will take effect for the 2026 committee year.
