Commission accepts Norman Farms Phase 2 roads, adds roughly 0.1 mile to county system

The Sumner County Highway Commission approved acceptance of the Phase 2 roads in the Norman Farms subdivision, adding roughly 0.1 mile to the county road system.
The road superintendent said the Phase 2 roads underwent an extensive inspection process involving county staff and Marshall and were built to county specifications. He listed the proposed street names for the phase: James Borley Road, Dante Alexander Boulevard, Philip Farrell Circle and Jenny L Bell Road.
After a brief review and confirmation that inspections were complete, a motion to accept the Phase 2 roads was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The county will provide a map of the highlighted roads to commissioners after the meeting.
