Board schedules National Night Out for Aug. 4 and authorizes work on energy RFQ

Staff said the RFQ should be refined with legal and departmental input and could be distributed once the board is comfortable with the mission and qualifications.
Board members supported circulating the RFQ for comment and reiterated that any contract would still require board approval before award. No contract awards or binding financial commitments were made at the workshop.
