"He may put in a restaurant or a pool recreational area," S2 said, adding that the developer will decide whether to proceed with townhomes depending on what the Hilton chooses.
Officials noted the two scenarios carry significantly different infrastructure needs and costs—S2 estimated those could reach about $1,000,000 depending on required sanitary sewer and other work—and that any change would be the developer’s decision, not a city action. No council vote or formal city requirement was announced during the briefing.
