The remainder is then going to be budgeted next year," Deech said, describing a plan to cover current-year overruns while budgeting remaining amounts later.
The manager also noted that a rock-slope (rock slide) evaluation took place later than anticipated and altered FY25 spending; some legislative grant funds are available to offset those costs, but the timing skewed the current-year budget. Committee members indicated they followed the memo and had no objections to moving funds but also noted they had not seen every supporting document and might hold recommendation until more review.
