Multiple speakers argued for a municipal pool, noting prior designs were approved before COVID and asking staff to re‑estimate costs and consider phased financing or bonds. One speaker noted access and therapeutic benefits for older residents and people recovering from injury.
Other brief comments requested a laundromat in town and reiterated support for the West Creek Ridge cabin site discussed later in the meeting.
The assembly did not take immediate action on these requests but members said topics can be incorporated into budget deliberations, future agendas, or committee follow‑up.
