GIC, MTX demo Magic and myGIC link portal for coordinators; new reports and help resources coming June 7

GIC and vendor MTX demonstrated the Magic system and myGIC link portal for offline coordinators, showing new-hire entry, registration/email workflow, plan comparison, document uploads and new reports (employee share invoice, monthly offline adjustment roster, agency insured report). Some Magic functionality is due June 7.
Chuck O'Brien of the Group Insurance Commission and Imran Chaudhary of MTX walked coordinators through the Magic system and the myGIC link member portal in a webinar demonstration.
O'Brien demonstrated how to search for a new hire by Social Security number in the Magic system, add a new insured when an ID does not exist, complete insured/contact/employment fields, check the attestation box and submit the record; Magic then generates a reference number visible on the new account.
