West Bend approves $3.1 million Kilborn reconstruction, other public‑works contracts and permits

S6 (Max) told the board the work will replace sanitary and storm sewers, upgrade water utility lines, replace curb and gutter and paving, and include lead‑lateral replacements under a county program. Max recommended awarding the contract with a 5.58% contingency for a total allocation not to exceed $3,110,000, funded from water utilities, sewer utilities and engineering capital projects. The board moved, seconded and carried the award.
