Council introduces Woodside Business Park rezoning; hears Motorola dispatch service agreement first reading

Connor said the planning commission held a public hearing on Feb. 9 and forwarded a positive recommendation; the council set a public hearing on March 16 for further public comment before second reading or adoption.
Connor also introduced Resolution No. 1584, authorizing a three-year service agreement with Motorola Solutions for implementation, training and service related to a mobile dispatch console the city already has purchased. Connor stated the annual cost for the service agreement will fluctuate roughly between $24,000 and $25,000 per year, with a three-year total cited in the meeting of $72,872.74. The item was presented as a first reading and the council will consider adoption at its March 16 meeting.
No votes were taken on either item at this meeting; the council scheduled public hearings and the next formal consideration for March 16.
