Board approves Malala CPO bylaws and reappoints two budget committee members

Tonya Holoweski, director of public & government affairs, presented the revised Malala CPO bylaws and said county counsel had reviewed them. Commissioner Helm moved to approve the bylaws as proposed; the motion passed unanimously (4–0) when the clerk polled the board.
Separately, staff reported a recruitment to fill a vacant public member seat on the County Budget Committee following Jan Lee’s resignation and said Wendy Rader and Kenny Cernak had indicated they would like to continue. Commissioner Helm moved to reappoint both; the motion passed unanimously (4–0).
