Gary Matson elected chair, Robert Aguayo vice chair of Oro Valley Stormwater Utility Commission

At its Jan. 15 meeting the commission elected Commissioner Gary Matson as chair and Commissioner Robert Aguayo as vice chair; both elections were carried by voice vote and took effect immediately.
The Oro Valley Stormwater Utility Commission elected Commissioner Gary Matson as chair and Commissioner Robert Aguayo as vice chair during its Jan. 15 meeting.
Robert Aguayo nominated Matson for chair; Aguayo made the motion to elect Matson and Commissioner John McCauley seconded. The commission approved the motion by voice vote and Gary Matson accepted the position.
For vice chair, Commissioner Dave Allard moved to elect Robert Aguayo; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Roberts and staff then continued with the meeting agenda.
The commission’s elections were procedural and effective immediately; commissioners will continue work on the rate-review schedule, CIP prioritization and other items outlined by staff at the meeting.
