Phil Gilchrist, executive director of the Anton Arts Center, used public participation time to thank the Mount Clemens City Commission for hearing the center’s application for the Art Macomb Fair and described plans to increase artist participation and downtown presence for the event’s first weekend in June.
"We're making some major changes in terms of how we're marketing this fair, and I'm looking forward to having more artist participants and a bigger downtown presence for the first weekend in June," Gilchrist said, inviting the commission and residents to attend.
Gilchrist also promoted the Anton Arts Center’s annual secondary student show, which opens Saturday; the center will hold a public reception from 1 until 3 p.m. and Gilchrist encouraged residents to attend.
