In executive session Representative Reed moved to refer HB 16‑52 to interim study; Representative Volley seconded. The clerk called the roll and the motion carried 12 yeas, 0 nays. The committee recorded that stakeholders and the sponsor were aligned on direction and that additional work over the interim would likely produce more implementable language.
