City staff said a Florida nonprofit called The Heart Sisters approached the city to partner on offering free CPR and other health classes at municipal facilities. Staff said the MOU requires no city funding beyond providing instructors and space and covers classes scheduled through July 2026.
Chief Rodriguez and other staff worked with the nonprofit on the MOU and told commissioners the program will expand resident access to CPR training. Commissioners expressed support and asked no substantive budget questions.
