Athletics: Trustees approved a request for a second assistant boys golf coach to improve practice ratios for a 22-player roster; the motion carried with the vote recorded as 7-0.
Student travel: The board approved travel for Leslie Abbott and student Braxton Penry to attend the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., in July (district and student fundraising noted).
Personnel and contracts: After executive sessions, the board approved multiple personnel motions and contract extensions, including an assistant softball coach appointment, a food-service substitute, extension of middle- and high-school principal contracts, extension of the elementary principal contract, extension of the athletic director contract, ratification of the negotiated agreement for 2025–26, and a multi-year extension for the superintendent’s contract. Where a tally was read aloud, counts were recorded (several actions reported as 7-0).
