Stephen Shower, deputy executive director, said the amendment covers content coordination, design, translation (the staff report cites availability in about 23 languages), distribution via community navigators, and creation of a countywide postcard directing residents to the district website. The staff report also described a Duwamish River King‑Tide postcard aimed at residents along that river.
Michelle Clark, district executive director, noted the dollars for this amendment are accounted for in the budget the district approved in November. The committee adopted motion FCDECM2026‑01 by roll call vote and moved the amendment forward.
